Introduction to obedience skills such as come when called, sit, down, stay and leave it.
Body handling exercises build confidence and teach your dog to be comfortable in his own fur!
Off-leash play sessions are worked into the curriculum to promote healthy play and to provide socialization with other puppies as well as people!
Puppies must be between 8-18 weeks at the start of class
Life Skills 101 (Beginner class)
It is never too late to enroll your dog in class! In this class, we will teach basic behaviors such as come when called, sit, down, stay, leave it and more.
No matter where your dog is at, we can help you and your dog learn behaviors that will set him up for success and will provide you with some relief from those "naughty" behaviors your dog may be practicing.
*Dogs older than 5 months of age are welcome to join class. They must have a good history with dogs and people. If you are unsure if your dog would thrive in a class setting, contact me before registering.
Intermediate Life Skills
Continuing education is so important not only for our dogs but for us! You and your dog can only continue to grow if you take more classes. In this class we will focus on an automatic down-stay on a mat and stationing for vet care, grooming, and more.
Tricks (Beginner level)
Do you often have company over? Would you love to be able to entertain by showing off what your dog can do? Sign up for this six-week class!
Some tricks we will be teaching are:
Does your dog go crazy when he sees another dog? Do you avoid taking your dog on walks because he is too difficult to manage when another dog is in sight? If you answered yes, this class is for you!
In this 6-week class, we will introduce other behaviors for your dog to perform during those stressful times when another dog dared to come into sight. We will also focus on building your dog's comfort level when he sees a dog.
This class is for dog-reactive dogs only. If your dog is reactive toward people, the private training route is best for you.
